The Design Process (finger posts and wall sign)

I wanted to make all of my deigns flow well together so that you could tell they are made as a package in a sense.so designing the Fingerpost and the Wall sign were very simple as I just rearranged the elements of the board to create them. The only consideration really was how tall the finger posts were to be and I chose them to be the same height as the Information board as I didn't want the fingers to be too low as they could be too close to head height causing a hazard.

This is my final Fingerpost sign. You can see it features a red flare at the top to attract attention. It is 8 feet tall so that the fingers do not cause any harm to passers by. I also kept it silver in colour to keep it looking consistent with the information board. The fingers also give a walking time to the destination that it points to, just so that people travelling on foot can expect how long it will take them to reach their destination.

Here are the Fingerposts in situ.

This is the final wall sign that was designed to keep the consistency across the designs intact, using the red flares and the silver board. It also has an approximate walking time printed beneath the destination.
